HSL congratulates our own AeroAstro PhD student Eric Hinterman on the successful defense of his doctoral thesis, "Multi-Objective System Optimization of a Mars Atmospheric ISRU Plant," on May 3.

Eric has been a vital contributor to the MOXIE project participating in MOXIE instrument operations and developing a MATLAB model of the system which is used to plan experimental runs executed on Mars.
